Biography
Kristin (Kris) Corkins is a pioneer alumnus- graduating from TWU with a Bachelor of Science in 2013 and a Master of Science with a major in Nursing - Nurse Family Practitioner in 2014.
She started with TWU professionally as an adjunct faculty in 2017. She has taught in both undergraduate and graduate programs. She moved to a full-time faculty position with the University in Jan of 2022 as an assistant clinical professor, the course manager for Preceptor II, and as the placement coordinator for the Dallas and Houston campuses for all of the APRN programs.
She is also working on a Ph.D. in Education Leadership Organization at TWU. Clinically she works at Crossover Healthcare, in clinics throughout the metroplex, one day a week.
