Biography
Dr. Brenda Moore is passionate about nursing, nursing education and the vital role that nurses play as members of the healthcare team. Dr. Moore just recently completed a Fulbright scholarship at the University of Jordan School Of Nursing and is currently an associate professor at Texas Woman’s University in Houston Texas. Credentials include a doctorate degree in nursing education form the University of Nevada, a masters’ degree in nursing education from Michigan State University and a baccalaureate nursing degree from the University of Alabama. Today, as a researcher and educator, Dr. Moore strives to discover the needs of English-as-a-Second language nursing students and create methods that lead to success for these individuals. Dr. Moore’s overarching goal is to educate, support and mentor all students to become outstanding nurses in the global world of healthcare.
