Biography

Dr. Sarah Wainscott is invested in pursuing optimal outcomes for children who are deaf and hard of hearing and their families, with 20 years of field experience including pediatric audiology, early childhood deaf education, auditory verbal therapy, and program development. She trains professionals in speech-language pathology and deaf education on topics of audiology, aural habilitation, and early language development and pursues research in areas of early language intervention, integration of auditory and visual communication, and interdisciplinary practices. Dr. Wainscott is engaged in family advocacy and collaborates with the family based organization Texas Hands & Voices.
