Biography
Dr. Leanna Hodges is an Assistant Professor and Graduate Advisor at Texas Woman's University. She earned her Doctor of Education in Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University in 2023, where her dissertation examined factors influencing skilled reading in deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Dr. Hodges also holds a Master of Science in Deaf Education from Texas Woman's University. Her research interests span supporting deaf students with disabilities, language and literacy development among deaf and hard-of-hearing learners, and the experiences of Imposter Phenomenon in graduate students. Dr. Hodges has shared her expertise on these topics through numerous national and state conference presentations. In addition, she has several publications in progress related to her research focus areas in deaf education.
