Biography
Camille Ko, OTD, OTR, CBIS is a practicing occupational therapist and assistant clinical professor at Texas Woman’s University. She has extensive experience with working with clients with neurological conditions in day neuro and traditional outpatient clinics. She is a certified brain injury specialist and is certified in LSVT BIG, which is a treatment approach for clients with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. She currently volunteers with the Brain Injury Network of Dallas, AARP Driver Safety Program, and with the Dallas Area Parkinson’s Society. Her interests include addressing functional cognition, facilitating community reintegration, health literacy, evidence-based practice for treating neurological conditions, interprofessional education, and using cultural humility in healthcare practice.
