Biography

Dr. Ann M. Davis earned bachelor's degrees in biochemistry and cell biology and in psychology at Rice University before pursuing her Ph.D. in immunology at UT Southwestern Medical Center as a student of Dr. J. David Farrar. She joined the faculty of Texas Woman's University in 2010 as an adjunct instructor and became a full-time lecturer in 2018. Dr. Davis has experience teaching a wide variety of different courses in the department. She has a strong interest in STEM educational reform, and she builds her courses around evidence-based pedagogies. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Davis is also the Division Head for Undergraduate Studies in the Division of Biology, the TWU JAMP Faculty Director, and one of TWU's faculty pre-health advisors.
