Biography

At Texas Woman’s University, I teach a variety of clinical skill-based graduate courses in the Counseling Psychology master's and doctoral programs. My instructional repertoire includes Psychotherapy Microskills, Theories of Counseling and Psychotherapy, Family Therapy, Practicum Supervision, Psychopathology, and Group Therapy. In addition to my teaching duties, I am the practicum coordinator for counseling psychology graduate students, ensuring they receive comprehensive, hands-on training to complement their academic studies. Additionally, in my private practice work, I specialize in providing gender-affirming psychotherapy, addressing disordered eating, and providing couples therapy and support for relationship concerns. I integrate my academic and clinical experiences to create a dynamic teaching environment, empowering students to develop their identities as therapists.
