Closing Friday at noon

Dear Texas Woman’s Community,

Gov. Abbott has historically closed state offices for the latter half of the workday on Good Friday. Following that pattern, I want to give you a little advance notice. Texas Woman’s campuses will close at noon on Friday, and nonessential employees who typically work from noon to five o’clock can end their workday early. Classes starting at noon or after are canceled.

For those amid this month of fasting, Ramadan Kareem! For others who observe the Sabbath meal, Shabbat Shalom! And those journeying through Lent, may your journey end with joy this Easter Sunday. Finally, if you practice none of the above, may you have a longer, restful weekend.
