Closing the university on Friday

Dear Texas Woman’s Community,

Gov. Abbott historically dismisses state employees for the latter part of this Friday. Following that pattern and giving you a bit of advance notice, I plan to close the university on Friday at noon.

For those amid this month of fasting, Ramadan Kareem! For others marking the start of Passover tomorrow, Chag Pesach Sameach! And those journeying through Lent, may your journey end with joy this Easter Sunday. Finally, if you observe none of the above, may you have a long, restful weekend.
