Closing at noon on Friday

Dear Texas Woman's Community,

Gov. Abbott has historically closed state offices for the latter half of the workday on Good Friday. In anticipation of that pattern, I want to go ahead and call it, giving you a little advance notice. Texas Woman’s campuses will close at noon on Friday,  April 18. Any nonessential employees who typically work from noon to five o’clock can end their workday early. Classes starting at noon or after are canceled.

For those of you celebrating it, I wish you a happy Easter weekend. For everyone else, may you enjoy a restful, slightly longer weekend than usual.
