Virginia Elizondo

Dr. Virginia Elizondo is a lifelong educator and advocate for children and marginalized communities. She has advanced degrees in Professional Leadership and has volunteered her time in a variety of advocacy organizations. She has run for public office and held positions on multiple educational committees because she believes everyone should be treated with dignity and respect. She sued her local school district for diluting the Latine vote and won her case in federal court utilizing the Voting Rights Act. Her current focus on helping her Latine community recognize, reclaim and reconnect with their indigenous roots.
