Erin Clark
Clark is a municipal government professional specializing in municipal finance and economic development finance with 27 years of experience. She is highly knowledgeable in municipal revenue streams such as property tax and sales tax, long-term financial forecasting, budgeting, and how all the systems of municipal finance departments work together to provide financial oversight for city departments. She specializes in economic development incentive agreements, including tax abatements, Chapter 380 agreements, Tax Increment Reinvestment Zones, Public Improvement Districts.
As a first-generation college student, she graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management, and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from University of Colorado-Boulder. She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Texas Lutheran University. Clark is also a veteran, having served 8 years in the United States Army and Texas Army National Guard.
Clark is passionate about leadership in local government, and bridges the gap between municipal finance, economic development, and leadership. Her scholarly pursuits include studying ways to improve self-leadership in local government service, so that individuals can create a positive impact and promote ethical government leadership practices.
She is a volunteer organizer and emcee for the Arlington chapter of 1 Million Cups, the Graduate Student Outreach Coordinator for the TLU chapter of the National Society of Leadership Success, and a volunteer public speaker at the UTA Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Development.
Clark is also the proud mother of two young adult sons and their wives.
