Deon Starnes

Starnes is the district director for State Representative Richard Hayes, a former educator and a passionate activist with more than 30 years of experience in politics and community service. She has planned three Republican state conventions, served nine years on the State Republican Executive Committee and played a key role in crafting Texas’s 2021 election reform bill while serving as the chair of election integrity for the RPT. Starnes has served on numerous boards and committees, mentored teens and continues to be a driving force in both policy and service. Her leadership, integrity and commitment to community make her a powerful voice for women in politics.
