Start, grow, and expand your Austin business

This AccelerateHER program is specifically for women-owned businesses in the Greater Austin area. The Center for Women Entrepreneurs will provide early-stage entrepreneurs with the resources and education to accelerate their companies into scalable and successful businesses.

Seven Austin-area woman-owned businesses will be selected for an intensive program that is facilitated by TWU Center for Women Entrepreneurs.

This program will provide the AccelerateHER Program - Austin cohort with the following:

• Direct access to a business advisor and mentors during and after the program.
• Intensive entrepreneurial training from industry experts on vital business resources and processes.
• Access to business plan software to complete a comprehensive business plan.
• Access to the CWE AccelerateHER Austin Resource page during and after the program.
• Introductions to Austin connections to expand their network.

Important dates

• Applications open: November 4, 2024
• Applications close: November 15, 2024 at 11:59 PM
• Applicants notified by: November 20, 2024
• Program start: January 15, 2025, In-person
• Weekly meetings: Wednesday evenings 6-8 pm
• Anticipated end date: April 30, 2025
• Weekly commitment: In-person meetings, 3 hours of weekly business tasks, bi-weekly advisor sessions.

Documentation of 51% or more women-owned, must be submitted with the application.
