Start, grow, and expand your Austin business

This AccelerateHER program is specifically for women-owned businesses in the Greater Austin area. The Center for Women Entrepreneurs will provide early-stage entrepreneurs with the resources and education to accelerate their companies into scalable and successful businesses.

A cohort of Austin-area woman-owned businesses will be selected for an intensive program that is facilitated by TWU Center for Women Entrepreneurs.

This program will provide the AccelerateHER - Austin cohort with the following:

Direct access to a business advisor and mentors during and after the program.
Intensive entrepreneurial training from industry experts on vital business resources and processes.
Access to business plan software to complete a comprehensive business plan.
Access to the CWE AccelerateHER Austin Resource page during and after the program.
Introductions to Austin connections to expand their network.
Resources to complete a 5-minute pitch deck and a 60-second pitch.

Important dates

Applications open: September 12, 2025
Applications close: October 24, 2025 at 11:59 PM
Applicants notified by: November 10, 2025
Program start: January 14. 2026, In-person
Weekly meetings: Wednesday evenings 6-8 pm
Anticipated end date: April 29, 2026
Weekly commitment: In-person meetings, 3 hours of weekly business tasks, bi-weekly advisor sessions.

Documentation of 51% or more women-owned, must be submitted with the application.
