Volunteer
The TWU Merrilee Alexander Kick College of Business and Entrepreneurship stakeholders collectively contribute to the growth, development, and success of the college, ensuring it meets its educational objectives and serves its students and the community effectively.
While we greatly appreciate your philanthropic support for our programs, we equally value your insight and business expertise in shaping our students into the business leaders of tomorrow. You can volunteer your time and knowledge through various opportunities, providing hands-on experiences that make a lasting impact.
Sponsor Student Professional Development Events
At TWU's Merrilee Alexander Kick College of Business and Entrepreneurship, we are always looking to engage our students with alumni and friends. The college hosts four student professional development events each academic year. Submit your proposal to sponsor a student professional development event at COBEvents@twu.edu.
Student Internships
Providing internships demonstrates a company's commitment to education and community development, enhancing its reputation and social responsibility. Internships allow students to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application while differentiating themselves from other students. Contact Shana Hicks, Coordinator of Business Internships, for more information.
Participate in Meet the Firms
Every fall semester the TWU Merrilee Alexander Kick College of Business and Entrepreneurship hosts Meet the Firms. Join the growing list of businesses currently participating and take advantage of the opportunity to meet our talented business students. For more information email COBEvents@twu.edu.
Speak to Students
Guest speakers add value to every classroom experience and student organization event. It offers students first-hand accounts regarding the business world, while also receiving knowledge and insight from an expert in their field of study. The opportunity to be a guest speaker enhances the educational experience of our business students while enhancing your visibility within the academic community.
