TWU celebrates May 2021 graduates with drive-thru ceremonies

May 11, 2021 - DENTON and HOUSTON - Texas Woman's held several unique drive-thru commencement ceremonies May 7-8 for its 2021 May graduates at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth to safely celebrate and honor this important milestone for its students. Each graduate and their family drove up to the finish line on the track and received their diploma.

A ceremony also was held on May 1 at Heavy Construction Systems Specialists (HCSS) in Sugar Land for Houston graduates.

The College of Business had a total of 402 May graduates, including twins Cecilia and Sandra Ortiz, who graduated with their bachelor’s degrees in human resource management.
