Best Nest Contest Rules

  • Only digital images (photos, videos, etc.) may be entered
  • Both residents of double occupancy rooms must agree to enter the contests if both individuals’ spaces are shown
    • If both residents do not agree, the entrant should only show their side of the space or room
  • Images should be original photos or videos that should show the student’s actual bedroom and study spaces
  • Filters are okay, but photoshop and other uses of digital modification should not be used
  • Preference will be given to entries showing bedroom and study spaces
  • Photos should be publicly shared on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter/X using the #TWUBestNest during this year’s contest window
    • Individuals who participate on other social media platforms or who incorrectly type the hashtag may be disqualified at the judge’s discretion
    • Additionally, tagging @TXWomans and @TWUHousing will make your post more visible to us
  • Posts should be publicly visible and posts that are deleted, hidden or otherwise removed before the contest winners are announced may be disqualified
    • Please check your privacy settings before entering
  • All rooms must comply with all TWU Housing health and decoration rules and other policies
    • Rooms in violation of TWU Housing policy will be disqualified from consideration and may be subject to other consequences
  • All #TWUBestNest contest winners who agree to have their rooms photographed and/or filmed for use in Texas Woman’s University print and digital publications and communications give permission for the university to use those images in future marketing promotions and materials
