Offering a bachelor of science in aviation science, the Doswell School of Aeronautical Sciences provides comprehensive flight and ground training and a well-rounded academic curriculum. While you work toward your licenses, you’ll gain knowledge in subjects like aviation law, weather and aerodynamics. Simulation training builds your experience with advanced technology and environments.

Apply for Admission

There are two steps to apply for the Aviation Science program at TWU. A student will not be considered an official Aviation Science student until BOTH steps are completed.

  1. Apply and complete the application for undergraduate admission to TWU. 
  2. Attend the mandatory Aviation Science Information Session. Parent/guardians/spouses are encouraged to attend as well.

Note: These sessions will occur monthly at 4 p.m. All new students MUST attend an Aviation Science Information Session before being allowed to register for Aviation Science courses or being assigned a flight slot.

The TWU Aviation Science program is not currently included on the list of F-1 eligible degrees. TWU F-1 restricted programs.

Typical Competitiveness of Admitted Students

Meeting university admission standards does not guarantee Aviation program entry. Aviation enrollment is capacity-limited and readiness-limited.
