Printing and Scanning
Denton Printing
Printing in black and white is free in the library. Printers are available on the first floor of the library, but any library computer can print to them. Print jobs are displayed on touchscreen kiosks near the printers, and your print job is released from there to an available printer.
Print jobs greater than 50 pages will be rejected, but you can break your document into smaller chunks to still print it entirely. For example, you can tell Word to print pages 1-25, 26-50, 51-75, etc. Note that this includes copies, so if you are printing 10 copies of something 10 pages long, it will be rejected. Instead, print a few copies multiple times.
A GoPrint window will pop-up asking for a login. This is only needed for color printing, so if you’re just printing in black and white, you can close this window and head to the print kiosk to look for your username.
Color Printing
Color printing is available at 15 cents per page. Library computers can print to the color printer by selecting it in your software’s printer options (BHLCLRPRT). Be sure the color option is selected in the software being used. After clicking print in the software you are using, login using your TWU credentials in the window that pops up, and follow the instructions to add enough money to your account so all of the pages can be printed. There is a minimum amount of $1 needed to print something. Once paid for, the color print jobs will print directly on the color printer; they do not appear on the kiosks.
