Clinical Program

The Stroke Center - Dallas provides each patient with an intensive individually planned treatment program.

Services may include:

• Speech and language therapy
• Physical therapy assessment if needed
• Psychosocial support groups for family members and caregivers

Prior to admission, a comprehensive assessment and an individualized plan of care are outlined. The Stroke Center - Dallas offers treatments based on your level of communicative independence, and could include individual, group and lab sessions. We currently offer twice weekly sessions either in the clinic or via teletherapy.

The Stroke Center - Dallas operates five 6-week sessions each year.

The Referral Process

You may be referred to The Stroke Center - Dallas by physicians, rehabilitation specialists, family or yourself. The Stroke Center - Dallas then conducts an interview and reviews your medical record to determine the likelihood you will benefit from our services.
