What is Pioneer Camp?
Pioneer Camp at Texas Woman’s University is a comprehensive and dynamic array of activities for incoming new students the week before the Fall semester begins. These activities are designed to ensure that new students have every opportunity to connect with the institution, meet their peers, and meet faculty and staff.

How do I register for Pioneer Camp?
All new students are registered for Pioneer Camp. It is an expectation that all First-Year students attend Pioneer Camp.

Is there a cost associated?
The cost of attendance is included in your First-Year Orientation fees that all First-Year students pay.

How do I check-in for Pioneer Camp?
You will receive more information about check-in after your orientation.

When will I receive my Pioneer Camp schedule?
You will receive a schedule in August online and at the Pioneer Camp check-in.

Why should I go to? Are any of these events mandatory?
Attendance is expected at all sessions and events. There will be chances to win awesome prizes and additional giveaways during some sessions. Pioneer Camp is designed to help you be successful as you begin your journey as a new Pioneer!
