TWU releases spring 2023 deans’, chancellor’s lists

Texas Woman’s University has released its deans’ and chancellor’s lists for the spring 2023 semester.

Undergraduate students who complete at least 12 graded credit hours and achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average are eligible for the deans’ list. Students who have achieved a 4.0 GPA are named to the chancellor’s list.

Trio represents TWU at American Society for Virology conference

Juliet Spencer, PhD and director of the School of the Sciences, and graduate students Erica Garcia and Kiran Tajuddin represented Texas Woman's University at ASV2023, the American Society for Virology’s annual conference in Athens, GA.

History launches 16th edition of Ibid

Ibid, the annual publication of the Texas Woman's University History Department, has been published on the TWU website.

The 16th edition features 13 essays by graduate and undergraduate students, delving into the intricacies of race, gender, politics and the environment. They explore the political impact of the antebellum North Texas fires, women’s agency in gentile society during the 18th century, the historiographies of family values politics during the 20th century and works centered on the American West.

Center for Women Entrepreneurs announces Texas Rural Woman Grant awardees

The Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership’s Center for Women Entrepreneurs (CWE) at Texas Woman’s University has selected 35 woman-owned businesses to receive $10,000 awards through its Texas Rural Woman Grant program.
