For 125 years, Texas Woman’s University has prepared students to lead with knowledge, compassion and purpose. Today, as the nation’s largest woman-focused university system and a Carnegie R2 research university, TWU is building on that legacy with tremendous momentum across our Denton, Dallas, and Houston campuses.

At the center of that momentum is the Chancellor’s Circle: a community of philanthropic leaders whose generosity empowers us to pursue new ideas, seize emerging opportunities, and invest in what comes next for Texas Woman’s University.

Through their support, Chancellor’s Circle members help create opportunities for students and advance priorities and initiatives across TWU. Members also have opportunities to connect with university leadership, engage more deeply with TWU, and stay informed about where the university is headed.

The Florence Nightingale Collection

TWU is now the permanent home of one of the nation’s premier Florence Nightingale collections. More than a historic archive of Nightingale’s writings and memorabilia, the collection is a living resource for education, research and discovery to inspire future generations of nurses and scholars.

Boots to Books

Boots to Books provides no-cost assistance to veterans, transitioning military, military families, and members of the guard and reserve in attaining education and employment. Boots to Books is a grass-roots community tens of thousands strong rallying around one common goal, seeing our veterans and their families attain the best possible career outcomes.

BALANCE Docuseries Screenings

Co-executive produced by TWU alumna Stephanie Collins ’93, the "BALANCE: A Perimenopause Journey" docuseries explores an often-overlooked stage of life and the effects it has on women. TWU hosted screenings of the series at all three campuses with Collins and the filmmakers, starting towards the goal of becoming a global leader in menopause research, education and innovation.
