Compliance
Texas Woman's University (“TWU”) is committed to operating with the highest integrity and in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. One of TWU’s guiding principles is that our commitment to excellence and integrity permeates all that we do in order to ensure a successful academic and workplace experience for faculty, staff, and students.
In order to uphold this commitment, the Office of Compliance is here to assist you in support of a working environment, which reflects TWU’s commitment to maintaining the highest level of integrity and ethical standards in the conduct of its operations. Compliance is the responsibility of every member of the TWU Community and is not limited to the Office of Compliance. The Office of Compliance provides education and guidance to faculty and staff so they may carry out their duties in an effective and ethical manner and develop strategies to avoid compliance and ethics failures.
The Office of Compliance is responsible for the strategic design and implementation of the Compliance and Ethics Program. Through the Compliance and Ethics Program, the Office of Compliance works to help ensure that TWU faculty and staff understand the requirements of applicable laws and regulations. It is the goal of the Compliance and Ethics Program to support all University compliance activities by working in collaboration with TWU offices and administrators that have been assigned responsibility for specific compliance areas.
The Office of Compliance works in partnership with the Office of General Counsel on all compliance matters.
The Office of Compliance manages the TWU Ethics and Compliance Hotline. For more information, visit the TWU Ethics and Compliance Hotline page.
