Who are Helping Hands Service Ambassadors?

The purpose of Helping Hands Service Ambassadors on the Texas Woman's University campus, in conjunction with the Center for Student Development, is to encourage a life of civic engagement for students through service activities, education and advocacy, and to work with community agencies in efforts to bring about positive change.

Helping Hands Applications Spring 2018

Applications for the Board of Directors positions are open! Log on to Engage, head to the Helping Hands Portal and look up the Helping Hands Director's Application 2018-2019 form. Applications are due November 23rd!

General Meetings

Helping Hands Service Ambassadors General Meetings (Meetings are held in SU113 at 5:00 pm the first Wednesday of the month during the Fall and Spring semesters)

Helping Hands Volunteer Projects

Helping Hands arranges volunteer projects most Fridays and Saturdays during the Fall and Spring semesters. Signups for Helping Hands volunteer projects come out at the beginning of each week on the TWU Helping Hands Service Ambassadors facebook page and on Blackboard. You can request to join the organization in Blackboard by clicking on Organizations, searching for Helping Hands, and requesting to be enrolled.
