Undergraduate Course Proposals & Modifications
To create courses new to the TWU curriculum inventory, or to modify courses currently existing in the inventory, faculty should submit proposals to the university Curriculum Committee for consideration. The timeline for course proposals/revisions and related documentation can be found on the university's Curriculum Committee web site.
Core Course Proposals
Core course proposals may be submitted for courses currently existing in the curriculum inventory, or for courses simultaneously being considered for addition to the inventory via the university Curriculum Committee process. Core course proposals must be accompanied by a proposed syllabus and a letter of approval signed by the respective Department Chair and Dean. Global Perspectives Course Proposals
Courses currently existing in the university curriculum inventory, or courses simultaneously being considered for addition to the inventory via the university Curriculum Committee process, may be considered for satisfying the Global Perspectives Graduation Requirement. Undergraduate Academic Program Proposals & Revisions
Proposals for new undergraduate academic programs, and requests for substantative change to existing undergraduate academic programs, must follow the New or Revised Undergraduate Academic Program Flowchart.
Faculty proposing new academic degree programs should review the following information provided by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board:

- THECB Information on New Undergraduate Program Requests
New or revised undergraduate academic program proposals (including new proposals and/or modifications of undergraduate minors, certificates, tracks/concentrations, and academic degree programs) should be accompanied by the following documents and should be uploaded to SharePoint via the New or Revised Undergraduate Academic Program Request form:

- Instructions for Calculating Formula Funding (new programs only) [pdf]
- Degree Requirements Template [xls]
- Plan of Study Template [xls]
- Marketable Skills [separate SharePoint workflow]
- Academic Assessment Plan
New or revised undergraduate certificates and/or minors should be accompanied by the following respective document(s) and should be uploaded to the Sharepoint via the New or Revised Undergraduate Academic Program Request form:

- Certificate Program Certification Form (for certificates over 20 SCH) [pdf]
Suspension of Active Programs
To suspend an active program, track, minor, or certificate, submit the New or Revised Undergraduate Program Request form and select the removal option.
