TWU to conduct Fall 2014 commencement

DENTON/DALLAS/HOUSTON— The Fall 2014 semester at Texas Woman’s University will draw to a close with commencement ceremonies scheduled Dec. 10 in Houston and Dec. 12-13 in Denton.

The Denton ceremonies include candidates from TWU’s Dallas Center. Approximately 1,161 degrees will be awarded during the Denton ceremonies. Approximately 202 degrees will be awarded during the Houston ceremony.

Dr. Carine M. Feyten, who became TWU’s chancellor and president this year, will deliver the commencement address for each of the five ceremonies.

Students and family members who have tickets are invited to attend the Denton and Houston commencement ceremonies.

Denton commencement ceremonies will take place in the Kitty Magee Arena in Pioneer Hall, located on Bell Avenue. Ceremonies are scheduled at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. both Friday, Dec. 12 and Saturday, Dec. 13.

The Houston ceremony is scheduled at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10 in the Hilton Americas—Houston, 1600 Lamar St.
