Tarrant To & Through Partnership

Texas Woman’s, the nation's largest public university system focused on women, is proud to partner with T3: Tarrant To & Through Partnership to offer scholarships and student support.

All 21 Fort Worth Independent School District (Fort Worth ISD) high schools are eligible to participate in the T3 Partnership.

Program Benefits

  • T3 Last Dollar Scholarship: 
    • You'll receive a "last dollar" tuition-free scholarship to TWU for up to 8 consecutive semesters or the completion of a degree (this scholarship applies to tuition only)
    • This scholarship covers any remaining tuition costs after all Pell grants and/or other federal, state or institutional aid have been applied
  • Bridge Programming: 
    • The T3 Team will work with you and TWU to ensure you have the necessary support the summer between high school graduation and your first year in college
  • College Persistence Coaching + Resources: 
    • If you need additional guidance throughout your time at TWU, one-on-one and group advising and support will be available to T3 Scholars to ensure you are successful
    • You also have access to T3 Connect, a virtual platform to network, stay connected and informed, and engage with community mentors

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in the T3 Promise, you must:

  • Have a Family AGI of $50,000 or less
  • Submit the T3 pledge before Feb. 15
  • Apply to TWU before March 1
  • Complete the FAFSA before March 1 every year

Renewal Eligibility

The T3 Last Dollar Scholarship may be held for a total of 4 consecutive years for First Time In College students as long as the following requirements are maintained:

  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Complete the FAFSA before March 1 every year
  • Have a Family AGI of $50,000 or less each year
  • Maintain consecutive enrollment in a minimum of 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester
