Dallas County Promise
A partnership between TWU and Dallas County Promise.

Dallas County Promise guarantees TWU admission to:
- Dallas county high school graduates ranked in the top 25% of their class
- Dallas County Community College District graduates with an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree
Eligibility Requirements
- You must graduate from a participating Dallas County Promise high school or transfer from the Dallas County Community College District
- Qualify for the Pell Grant as defined by FAFSA
Scholarship Conditions
Promise Direct
- TWU provides a one-time $500 scholarship to students who successfully complete the PROMISE steps and enroll directly into TWU the fall immediately following their senior year in high school.
Promise Transfer
- TWU provides a free-tuition guarantee for all Promise students who successfully complete an Associate’s degree within 3 years of high school graduation and meet the basic transfer requirements of the university based on a need-based threshold.
- Your annual family income cannot exceed $50,000.
