TRIO SSS STEM-H provides guidance and individualized support specifically for students majoring in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and health bachelor degrees through a variety of programs and services.

This program is federally funded by the Department of Education, dedicated to the retention and success of TWU undergraduate students who identify as low income, first generation, and individuals with disabilities.

Program objectives

  • 75% of all participants served will persist from one academic year to the next or will have earned a bachelor’s degree
  • 85% of enrolled participants will remain in good academic standing
  • 48% of new participants served each year will graduate with a bachelor’s degree within six years
