Now in its 17th year, Cybersecurity Awareness Month continues to build momentum and impact with the ultimate goal of providing everyone with the information they need to stay safer and more secure online. Texas Woman's University is proud to support this far-reaching online safety awareness and education initiative which is co-led by the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

CyberAware20 is an interactive cyber event that will converge the Texas Military Department and its state and federal partners at Camp Mabry to build partnerships, collaborate, and educate participants about ongoing cyber efforts across the state. There will be exhibits, exploit demos, current threat information, and special presentations.

Connect It, Protect It in Remote Working and Learning Environments

This session will help you understand what Zero Trust is and discuss how to use it to more effectively to secure your environment and devices.

Find the answers to these questions and more during our live presentation with the TWU Information Security team. Participants will learn how to avoid a phish and protect their data. Participants must be a Texas Woman's University faculty, staff or student to play. First place receives an Amazon Fire TV Stick! Winner will be announced by November 3, 2020.
