TWU Department of Public Safety

TWU’s Police Department helps maintain a safe campus environment and because of their diligence, TWU consistently ranks as one the safest college campuses. Officers are fully commissioned and have the full authority and responsibilities of a peace officer as authorized by Texas law.

Incidents that occur on university property, including crimes, dangerous activity, health emergencies, fires or other similar occurrences should be reported to the TWU DPS. The department provides services to the university community 24/7 and maintains a close working relationship with other state and local agencies.
