Farm-to-Future: Virtual Summer Nutrition Culinary Camp
June 22-26, 2020
Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Join the TWU Department of Nutrition & Food Sciences for a fun and engaging virtual summer camp.
- Campers ages 7-11 will discover sustainable cooking and farming for a healthy and happy future.
- Campers ages 12-17 will be working to develop their culinary skills and learn cooking techniques that provide ways to make great tasting, nutritionally sound foods.
- All campers will gain hands-on experience in making dishes that utilize plant protein and discover ways to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into a balanced diet.
- Both groups will participate in an array of physical activities.
The camp is free. Registration is required.
