TEAS Testing at TWU

The TWU College of Nursing now offers the TEAS exam for applicants seeking to enroll in the BS in Nursing program at TWU and applicants seeking to enroll in other healthcare or nursing programs outside of TWU.

BS in Nursing TEAS Policy

Prospective nursing students are limited to two (2) attempts at the TEAS between any two admission deadlines ( Feb. 2 – Aug 15; Aug. 16 – Feb. 1 ). Only scores from the TEAS taken within one (1) year of the application deadline for which the student is applying will be considered. Within these parameters, students may select the TEAS score report to be included with their application to the undergraduate nursing program. Students will indicate their selection by uploading the appropriate score report into Nursing CAS with their other application material.

If the TEAS score report submitted does not follow this policy, then the NursingCAS application cannot be considered for admission.

Note: Applicants can now submit their highest total score report. View your TEAS score report(s) to determine the highest total score (overall) not your highest scores for each of the four sections of the TEAS. Remember you have limited TEAS attempts per our policy. Applicants cannot mix and match section (Math, English, Reading, Science) scores from different attempts. Applicants can only upload one TEAS score report. Students achieving an individual score of 64 or higher on the ATI TEAS Individual Performance Profile (each section) are eligible to submit a NursingCAS application for consideration. Do not submit a NursingCAS application if you do not have a minimum of 64 in each of the four sections of the TEAS as you will be ineligible for consideration.
