TWU Houston Center to host open house Nov. 2, 2019

Oct. 14, 2019 — HOUSTON — Texas Woman’s University will host an open house for prospective first-year and transfer students from 8:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 2, at the university’s Institute of Health Sciences-Houston Center, located in the Texas Medical Center at 6700 Fannin Street

TWU’s Open House is geared toward undergraduate students interested in healthcare programs in both Denton and Houston.

Prospective students and their guests will have the opportunity to meet faculty and current students, and attend sessions on admissions, financial aid, student services and more. Check-in and registration begin at 8:30 a.m. in the foyer, with information sessions and campus tours scheduled until 12:30 p.m.

Prospective students will be entered to win a $1,000 scholarship, which will be applied to fall and spring 2020-2021 tuition and fees at TWU. One first-year student and one transfer student each will win a $1,000 award at the Houston Open House. Students must be eligible for admission to TWU to claim the award.

Parking is available in the adjacent TWU Methodist Garage, with entrance on Main Street. Participants are responsible for their own parking fees.
