TWU Houston Center to host open house Sept. 22, 2018

Sept. 4, 2018 - HOUSTON - Texas Woman’s University will host an open house for prospective transfer and graduate students from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, at the university’s Institute of Health Sciences-Houston Center, located in the Texas Medical Center at 6700 Fannin Street.

TWU’s Open House is geared toward upper-level undergraduate students interested in nursing and 100 percent online degree completion programs, and graduate students in nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, health care administration, nutrition and the MBA program.

Prospective students and their guests will have the opportunity to meet faculty and current students, and attend sessions on admissions, financial aid, student services and more. Check-in and registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the foyer, with information sessions scheduled until noon and campus tours until 12 p.m.

Prospective students will be entered to win a $1,000 scholarship, which will be applied to fall and spring 2019-2020 tuition and fees at TWU. One transfer student and one graduate student each will win a $1,000 award at the Houston Open House. Students must be eligible for admission to TWU to claim the award.

Parking is available in the adjacent TWU Methodist Garage, with entrance on Main Street. Participants are responsible for their own parking fees.
