TWU Houston Center presents annual Parry Distinguished Lectureship March 3

“Global Trends: Implications for Education, Research, Practice and Policy” is the focus of the annual Parry Distinguished Lectureship scheduled March 3 at the Texas Woman’s University Institute of Health Sciences-Houston Center.

Hester Klopper, chief executive officer of FUNDISA (Forum for University Nursing Deans in South Africa), is the featured speaker for the event. Klopper hails from South Africa and is an acclaimed international academic and professional leader with extensive experience in global health, public health, policy development, nursing and health care. She also is the immediate past president of Sigma Theta Tau International University. She holds a master’s degree (1992) and Ph.D. (1994) from the University of Johannesburg and an MBA (2002) from Luton University in the United Kingdom.
