Texas Woman’s to host Pioneer Preview Day Oct. 15
Texas Woman’s University will host Pioneer Preview Day — an open house event for prospective first-year students — beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 on the university’s Denton campus.

Various sessions and events will take place throughout the day, including a student life and services fair, a panel discussion with current TWU students and an academic preview with various faculty members. Information sessions will cover a wide array of topics including admissions, financial aid and housing. Spanish translation will be available for several information sessions. Prospective first-year students and their families also will have the opportunity to participate in a campus tour.
There will be a drawing where prospective students could win $1,000 to be applied to Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 tuition and fees at TWU. One award will be presented to one first-year student at Pioneer Preview Day. Students must be eligible for admission to TWU to claim the award and must be present at the drawing to win.
Check-in for the event begins at 8 a.m. in Hubbard Hall, located on Administration Drive between Oakland Street and Bell Avenue in Denton. For a map of the campus, visit www.twu.edu/maps/ and click on “Denton Campus Location.” Information sessions are scheduled until noon, followed by the award drawing and campus tours that include residence halls.
