3 online programs make U.S. News’ ‘best’ ranking

Jan. 26, 2023 — DENTON — U.S. News & World Report has recognized graduate online programs in nursing, education and business at Texas Woman’s University as being among the nation’s best. 

The recognition was announced this week in the publication’s annual “Best Online Programs” edition, which offers rankings in a variety of academic categories. U.S. News considers several factors in its rankings, such as student engagement, faculty training and credentials, expert opinions, support services and technology, and student excellence.

Online graduate education at Texas Woman’s was ranked in the top half of all university online graduate education programs in the country, while the online nursing and MBA programs were also recognized by the publication.

For its 2023 edition, the publication assessed 1,833 online degree programs, the most in the ranking’s history.
