Music Theatre Certificate

Earn your certificate in musical theatre at TWU.

Our music theatre certificate program offers additional training in the realm of music theatre, both onstage and behind the scenes. If you are interested in performing, directing, music directing, accompanying or conducting for the musical theatre, this certificate program is designed to suit your needs. If you are a music education student, you are strongly encouraged to audition, as many secondary school music educators are expected to collaborate on musicals. Certificate program students participate in the biennial music theatre production as well as the Music Theatre Cabaret.

The music theatre certificate program:

• Is offered to music and theatre majors only.
• Accepts music and theatre students on an audition-only basis.
• Is completed in addition to the BA in music or theatre.
