Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this a commuter camp or an overnight camp?

A: This is a commuter camp. No campers will be staying on campus.

Q: Are there any hotel arrangements available to campers?

A: YES! We have made deals with surrounding hotels. Please contact us through our camp email and we will send you that information.

Q: Is lunch provided?

A: We are catering lunch every day. It will be distributed in boxes and each section will eat together in their designated areas.

Q: Do we get a t-shirt?

A: Every camper will receive a TWU camp t-shirt!

Q: What are your safety precautions? Are masks required?

A: The camp is organized via sections (rehearsals, seatings, etc.) in order to reduce contact. We will employ social distancing and have HEPA filters in the rehearsal areas. Sanitizer will be available to all participants. As determined by the Governor, we will not be requiring masks, but each camper can decide to wear one if preferred.

Q: Will there be a concert?

A: We will have a concert at the end of camp. (4:30 PM on the last day) Each camper can invite 2 guests who will make a reservation for the event. We will seat the audience with social distancing. The concert will only be a half-hour in length.

Q: What is the Large School Area Workshop?

A: Area audition music is used in the final two rounds of auditions and is more advanced in difficulty. The 3-day choir camp focuses on the music for the first rounds of auditions, but it does not provide a sufficient amount of time to cover the Area audition music in-depth. The Large School Area Workshop provides intensive rehearsal solely on the Area-level repertoire.
