Fall 2020 Music Classes

12-Week Session: August 31 – December 4
Classes will not meet the week of Thanksgiving, November 23-27

Music Class Information

Due to COVID-19, we will not be offering group classes this semester. Please see our private lessons section below for more options.

Private Lesson Information

Private lessons are available for piano, voice, guitar, flute, and clarinet. For lessons on other instruments, please contact Danny Milan, the director of the Community Music Center, at dmilan@twu.edu.

Private lessons allow students to develop proficiency and confidence on their instruments in a one-on-one setting. Teachers will combine music reading, technique, and musicianship activities into an individualized curriculum based on each student’s goals and interests. Lessons are taught by either instructors or artist-teachers. Instructors are professional music teachers who have earned at least an undergraduate degree in music. Artist teachers are on the faculty at Texas Woman’s University.

Important Note: Due to COVID-19, all lessons through the TWU Community Music Center will take place virtually to reduce the risk of spread to both students and faculty.
