Community of Immunity Challenge

Creating a safe campus community

Texas Woman’s is committed to promoting a safe and healthy environment for all.

TWU strongly encourages members of the community to get vaccinated against the virus to prevent its spread. This fall, TWU is launching the Community of Immunity Challenge.

TWU Students: Submit your vaccine record to Student Health Services to help track the percentage of vaccinated students. The higher TWU's vaccination rates, the more prizes are unlocked through the challenge.

How to Win Prizes & Events

Through Nov. 1, 2021, all members of the Texas Woman’s community become eligible for prizes, which include scholarships, parking permits, meals and event tickets, if student vaccination rates reach 70%, 80% and 90%.

Unlocking prizes is easy! Follow the three steps below to complete the Community of Immunity Challenge.

Step 1: Get Vaccinated

If you are able to get vaccinated, TWU strongly encourages you to protect yourself and others from the spread of coronavirus.

Upload your COVID-19 vaccination status to Student Health Services by Nov. 1 and help TWU track how vaccinated our student body is. You must use a TWU email when submitting.

All TWU community members become eligible for prizes if student vaccination rates reach 70%, 80% and 90%.

Coronavirus Safety & Testing Program

Texas Woman's continues to closely monitor coronavirus safety guidelines and will continue contact tracing throughout the fall semester. TWU encourages all to wear a face mask indoors and encourages those that can get vaccinated to do so.

Need to find a vaccination clinic near you? Text your zip code to 438829.

Students, faculty and staff on all three campuses that have not submitted proof of vaccination will be required to be tested weekly for COVID-19 at an on-campus testing location.
