Resident Assistant (RA) Information

The application process has two simple steps.

Step 1:Complete the online Housing Student Staff and Leadership Application for 2023-2024 in the Housing Portal. The application can be found under the "Applications and Request Forms" tab on the left when you log in. Please attach your resume, cover letter and Leadership Questions responses with your application.

There are multiple parts to the application. To better prepare you to complete the application, you can access the Resident Assistant Application template (pdf).

Step 2: Submit supporting documentation listed below online:

Please seek to obtain two references from people who know you well and who have an understanding of the Resident Assistant position you are applying for.  Your references should be completed by a former or current employer, teacher, academic advisor, organization sponsor and/or other professional who knows you well.  One (1) of your references must be completed by a current full-time or student staff member of the Department of Housing & Dining. All references must be current. 

The deadline to complete the online application and submit the supporting material is 5 pm on January 27, 2023.

Academic Support Assistant (ASA) Information

The application process has two simple steps and it is important that you complete each component so that you have the highest chance of being hired. Please use the ASA Selection Timeline as a reference for the process.

Step 1: Complete the online Housing Student Staff and Leadership Application in the Housing Portal.

Step 2: Submit supporting documentation listed below through application in Housing Portal.

Please seek to obtain two references from people who know you well and who have an understanding of the Academic Support Assistant position. Each reference form must be completed online. Your references should be completed by a former or current employer, teacher, academic advisor, organization sponsor and/or another professional who knows you well.  One (1) of your references must be completed by a current faculty or staff member of TWU. This can include but is not limited to Housing & Dining staff such as a current Resident Assistant, Academic Support Assistant, or Residence Director/Area Coordinator who knows you well. All references must be current. References will be contacted by email or phone by the end of the ASA Selection process to confirm they completed the applicant reference. 

Note:
 The online application and two completed online references must be completed and submitted to TWU Connect no later than 5:00 pm on February 17, 2022. As candidates submit materials, more information will be forthcoming through their pioneer portal email addresses. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered as positions become available.
