Due to the potential for serious injury and property damage, EH&S requires a permit be issued for grilling activities on TWU campuses using portable equipment. This includes the use of any electric, propane, or charcoal/wood fired grills used anywhere on campus (but does not include permanently installed outdoor or indoor grilling equipment). The permit must be completed and approved by Risk Management/EH&S before grilling may begin. The permit must be requested by TWU faculty or staff, who will be responsible for ensuring all requirements of the permit are met. Students may not undertake grilling activities without the oversight of a TWU faculty or staff member.
