Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded in 1914 on the principles of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service. The factor that sets the organization a part from others is its willingness to adapt with the culture and humanity every day. The Gamma Alpha Kappa chapter was chartered on July 9, 2009 on the campus of Texas Woman's University. Since then, the chapter has members who have received numerous scholarships, accolades, and dedicated hundreds of community service hours as a whole.
