  • Health and Wellbeing Initiative graduate efforts Dr. Michelle Reeves, Director of
    • Would like graduate students to participate in the mental well-being survey and how can we encourage graduate students to participate.
    • Received less than 30 surveys last year
    • They see an increase in surveys in Houston & Dallas
    • Open to collaboration

      • Relate it with online orientation
      • Tie it in with GTA and GA orientation
      • Having an open forum with graduate students

      • Sent out and open until October 20th

Community & Social Media

  • BIPOC initiative partnership
    • Students from her program received a grant to fund a team for finding resources and making longer-term opportunities for BIPOC graduate students.
    • Local conference to highlight and showcase the research of BIPOC students at TWU and in the local community
    • GSC can become plugged in to increase the longevity of the conference
    • Candice can connect us with her peer Sasha
  • UNT/TWU social happen regularly
  • End of the semester (December 2022) social ($500):
    • Christmas Lights at Night
    • Rikki to send out a doodle poll with dates.
