The Characteristics of Doctoral Programs were developed by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s Graduate Education Advisory Committee to create a snapshot of all doctoral programs at public universities and health-related institutions. The information is intended to provide information to institutions for self-improvement and to serve as a guide to members of the general public who are interested in doctoral education, such as prospective students and their families (Texas Administrative Code Title 19, Part 1, Chapter 5, Subchapter C, Rule 5.51).
The links below present the characteristics for each Texas Woman’s University research (PhD, EdD) and professional (DNP, DPT, OTD) programs.
