Assistant Director of Central Plant and Utilities
The Central Plant Operations component is responsible for the oversight and management of the utilities production and distribution on the TWU Denton Campus, maintenance and installation of the building HVAC automation control equipment, and providing document review expertise for the construction efforts relating to all Facilities Management and Construction projects. Responsibility for the operations and maintenance of the most massive and technically advanced equipment, system components, and utility infrastructures on campus requires a wide range of diverse knowledge and skills. The university’s boilers, chillers, cooling towers, building HVAC systems, and water treatment services are critical to fostering a comfortable and safe learning and teaching environment. The plant operations team functions 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, and is the call center for all facility related issues occurring after hours.
