Virtual Swim Challenge

Come swim the Fivemile River in our Virtual Swim Challenge. To participate, register online by Friday, March 19, get your swim in between March 22 - April 5, take a picture or screen shot of your fitness watch or phone app you use to track your swim and email it to Steph Gray. We will announce the winner on April 6th.

Water Olympics

Due to the weather closure that happened on Campus we have pushed back the Water Olympics to April 19th through April 22nd.

Registration is currently open for all students. You will need to register by April 11th as either a team or individual. This is a week-long event but you do not have to participate in all events. You can choose which ones you would like to do when you register. We will schedule two teams at the pool at a time to manage social distancing and everyone will get a time between 6-8pm. We will schedule in 30 minute increments so everyone has time to change and then participate and shower after. We will also have life jackets if you are not comfortable in water.

    • Monday, April 19th – Beachball Race
    • Tuesday, April 20th – Boat Races
    • Wednesday, April 21st – Floatie Races
    • Thursday, April 22nd – Cannonball Contest

Aquatic Adventure


During this event you will learn to use and kayak and paddle board. What sounds more fun then using a kayak or paddleboard in the indoor pool?

  • Wednesday, March 24th 6-8pm
  • Wednesday, April 14th 6-8pm

Water Bootcamp

This class is designed to give you a high energy workout of sports drills, circuits, and interval training in the water. Overall, this class is designed to improve your personal strength and endurance.

  •  Every Tuesday @5:15pm

Wave Club

This will be an 8 week program starting March 15th through May 3rd. You can sign up at the pool front desk located at Pioneer Hall. The Wave Club is a water workout program that is coordinated to fit with your water comfort and fitness level. We have a variety of water workouts that you will complete on your own time throughout the 8 weeks. As you complete each workout you are able to move up the wave located on the bulletin board at the pool. Once you complete all workouts and have moved through the wave you will get a Fit & Rec prize.
